A performance response written with Kate Liston’s film Treatment. Mutualism was presented at Hatton Gallery in 2018 as part of Liston’s Feel After the New See exhibition and re-performed for Tyneside Cinema’s Projections programme.

Mutualism is part of a growing body of work developed with artist Kate Liston, which also includes Absorb. These text works explore new ways of writing responsively with (rather than about) moving image.
