The Walser Cycle

A public, collaborative performance of three short plays by modernist Swiss-German writer Robert Walser: The Pond, The Good for Nothing and Thorn Rose. Created with artists Nadia Hebson and Paul Becker, with performers Faye Green and Mark Bleakley.

At Baltic 39 (Newcastle, 2014), a five day public staging of the plays negotiated Walser’s texts through public rehearsal and collaborative performance. The work was re-presented at Centre PasqArt (Biel, 2014) for the opening of Dexter Dalwood’s retrospective exhibition.
